Chris Athorne For Oktoba: Communicating Through ‘Smoke Signals’

This October 29th, Brighton based singer-songwriter Chris Athorne releases his debut album,

Titled ‘Smoke Signals‘ from his very own solo project, Oktoba.

He’s an artist blooming, his debut EP Tales and Shadows EP’ released in 2014, keeps on being played regularly on BBC introducing.

This has been a great year for Oktoba, and this shall continue so, as Chris had the blessing to perform all around the UK (Together The People Festival, The Great Escape, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club)

As well as shows in America (Rockwood Music Hall in NYC and Sofar Sounds in Chicago).

Running for a brilliant career, Chris has recorded this song, titled ‘Down’, one amongst the 10 tracks of the album

With producer Tim Bidwell (Kate Walsh, Jack Watts, Fink) at his Clockwork Owl Studio in Brighton.
