Daniel Pearson – World Is A Puzzle, We Are The Pieces

Puzzling questions answered with more questions

Innocence or ignorance, no real difference when comes the truth

Blessings on reserve for those who deserve, or for those who don’t

Who knows? Answer found in the bigger picture.

Our world, a big puzzle, everyone of us, the pieces of this great picture.

Simple guitar rhythms, ethereal atmosphere made of overwhelming melodies on the keyboard and pretty bright back vocals, and introspective poem spoken loud and clear, along rousing and ongoing percussion…

Daniel Pearson opens up his new indie-folk project with a first intimate single Pieces of a Puzzle, released January 31st, 2018.

This stripped-down songwriting allows space for free expression. Sincere voice, he genuinely sings the lyrics that have been haunting his mind, puzzled, in hope for peace of mind.

Pieces of a Puzzle announces then the coming of new music from the artist, after the 2015’s Alone, Together album.

Despite all these existencial questions without answers, the track conveys a feeling of relief and lightness. We might have not the answer, but we’re still walking (to the rhythm of the drums), enduring and enjoying the journey.

“I guess this song, like a lot of my new material, is trying to make sense of the world in 2018” explains the singer-songwriter & multi-instrumentalist.

“Like everyone else I’m asking questions, looking for answers, hoping for optimism in pretty dark times – and there’s no fast track or easy way to doing or finding those things.

Pieces Of A Puzzle feels like a part of that search, and the music has this new-frontier, big-canyon vibe to it that fits the idea of a journey.”

The rendition for such a reflection makes the song delightful and somewhat blissful.

Two more new singles set to drop in February and March and a highly engaged fanbase on streaming and social media. Over 80k people listen to Daniel on Spotify.
