There she stands, over there she looks, she woke up this morning, fully feeling alive,
Curious to know how the wind blows and if Tomorrow shall ever keep all its promises,
Lessons of the past and prayers for the future, she lives better when she enjoys her present time,
Even though she’s walking in the thick of the mist, she believes nothing is impossible,
Or rather, she believes it’s impossible not to make it to the end.
An inspirational message from Bianca Rose; the new music she’s sharing with us is a part of herself.
‘Because Of Love’ is the second single from her upcoming debut album, No Fear Here, out this January 30th.
This new project is a blend of Folk, Soul and subtle Gospel influences.
You can hear and appreciate it all as she plays either the guitar or the ukulele along a light and soulful voice.
This is soothing one-of-a-kind experience.
Bianca Rose’s voice is the soft kind, even if she’s herself a woman of character when it comes to stand and rise up against her fears, oppressing and depressing.
Accomplished British/Jamaican/Nigerian singer-songwriter, who’s also been writing for other artists for a decade now.
Plus she has offered the live experience of her own music for Sofar Sounds, Tigmus, London Jazz and the CrimeJazz Festival in the Netherlands with additional performances for Playstation, OH TV, & radio play on Radio 1 and 1Xtra.
More recently, she co-wrote X-Factor contestant Annastasia Baker’s debut album, resulting in Annastasia’s 2014 Mobo nomination.
Now, fully dedicated to earn her year 2017, she’s taking the music industry by storm pushing a project part-funded by the PRS for Music Foundation and produced by critically acclaimed jazz musician and producer Femi Temowo (George Benson, Amy Winehouse, The Roots).
What is more, she’s making original collaborations with amazing talents such as, Ayanna Witter-Johnson, Mobo nominated singer/songwriter and cellist, who’s released a beautiful EP with a powerful storytelling, titled Black Panther.
“Ayanna and I collaborated on every part of the creation of this song, from writing to recording,
So it only made sense that the video was an extension of this partnership, whilst debunking the stereotype of competition between women.
We believe there is a place for us all in this business so we actively make room for one another.” – Bianca Rose.
Two strong and talented women, blessed with a beautiful mind, and both coming from a long journey.
Bianca Rose’s purpose with her debut album is to highlight the inner-beauty and awaken your bravery,
Even at times of vulnerability, naked weakness, and ashamed imperfection.
No Fear Here is a project to make you feel good enough
“These songs are snippets of the lessons I’ve learned and am still learning.
Some people believe that fear is something we should live with, or that we should use it as motivation to achieve our goals.
From my experience, I believe it’s something to be conquered and routed out of every area of our lives.
I try to live on a daily mission to seek and destroy all traces of fear and oppression in my life. It’s the only way that’s worked for me.”
In 2007 she self- released her debut EP ‘Truth and Tiny Tragedies’, this is a first taste to a Bianca Rose’s experience, until comes out her debut album this January 30th.
