Stonefeather – Flying Over The Land Of California
In the heat of the morning, birds land on the brown and rocky floor; stone and feather.
In a cloud of dust, they leave the ground to reach the leaves of the trees; stone and feather.
Free like the wind, they spread their wings, sing then fly away, as they drop their feather on uncovered stones.
So do the members of the Los Angeles based-band Stonefeather: they sing and make good rock music to fly away.
Lately, the band has released their official video for their single Ride On.
Ethereal vocals, heavy and psychedelic Rock’n’Roll mixed with influences of groove and funk,
The band suggests a cinematic experience, and stimulates the imagination along expressive and dreamy guitar chords.
The group reminds of bands like Kansas when tracks like Castle reminds of Jimi Hendrix.
Formed in 2008, Stonefeather has released several projects already,
And performed at SXSW 2015, the The Viper Room, The Roxy, The Whisky, The Satellite, The Echo, The Bootleg, Silverlake Lounge and toured across the United States.
