Emerging Artists Who’ve Worked With Grammy Nominated Producers

At the beginning of this week, everything was about the 58th Grammy Ceremony which is the biggest ceremony ever to highlight and honor the greatest artists of all time.

On Sounds So Beautiful, did we have the pleasure to discover amazing emerging artists.

What is more, among these emerging artists, some have collaborated with Grammy nominated producers and artists.

For the end of this week, let us focus on these fresh singers-songwriters who work day and night on their craft, collaborating with people who know music and who are Grammy worth.

Anisa has penned tracks with LA-based producer Harmony Samuels, hit-writer Eric B, and cites Grammy nominated producer DJ Camper as her favorite person to work with of all time. “I’ve never encountered musical chemistry as strong as when I’m working with DJ Camper – he is just super, super talented.”

Qmillion (two-time Grammy winner for his work with Robert Glasper) and producer  Joe Garrett, credited on – Zayn’s smash single “Pillowtalk.”

Khari Mateen

Grammy Nominated for his contribution to The Roots’ 2006 album “Game Theory, for which he co-produced the title track, “Livin’ in a New World,” and “Clock with No Hands.” Khari has continued contributing to Roots (Rising Down and Undun), Jill Scott, J*Davey, and Money Making Jam Boys, among others.  

And 3x Emmy Award Winning Singer, Songwriter, Producer, Composer, and Independent Multi-Instrumental Musician.

Multi-Grammy winning producer Don Was (Rolling Stones, John Mayer, Bonnie Raitt) recently selected Henley from over 10,000 performers as the winner of Guitar Center’s National Artist Discovery Program.

Was produced Henley’s latest EP, “Wonderland”, tracked at Hollywood’s Henson Recording Studios (birthplace of celebrated projects like Carole King’s Tapestry and Joni Mitchell’s Blue). Acclaimed musicians included drummer James Gadson (Beck, Marvin Gaye, Bill Withers), James Hutchinson on bass (Bonnie Raitt, BB King), guitarist Mark Goldenberg (Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt), Mike Finnigan on Hammond Organ (Jimi Hendrix, Michael McDonald), percussionist Michito Sanchez (Train, Aretha Franklin), string arranger Davide Rossi (Ed Sheeran, Coldplay) and Henley on keyboards, vocals and background vocals.

Wrote “Little Things” with Ed Sheeran for One Direction, “Voodoo Doll” with 5 Seconds Of Summer, and “Heavy Weather” with Billie Marten

More recently, she has been in L.A. co-writing with Grammy Award-winning producer John Shanks.

 

Cariad Harmon

Cariad Harmon’s self-titled album. Co-Producers Oli Rockberger and Chris Abell (Mat & Kim, Pete Yorn, Alabama Shakes) heavily influenced the record’s sound, while executive producer Matt Pierson (Grammy nominees Kirk Whalum, Brad Mehldau), who is largely credited in the Jazz community, produced 5 of the album’s 11 tracks, and mixed and mastered the project giving the album a salient voice.
