Tova Glyt’s Head Back Debut EP Beautifully Blends Pop And Country Music

Swedish singer/songrwriter Tova Glyt has been gathering attention this past month, around the release of her debut EP as a solo artist, titled ‘Head Back‘, which is also the name of the lead single.

This beautiful 6-track collection, provided by Ditto Music, showcases the 21-year-old Pop singer’s whole musical world. This Head Back edition sounds like the culmination of a 2-year journey that allowed her an extensive exploration of her music.

Indeed, you can appreciate how tracks released back in 2018 have evolved with time. Her song “Heavenly Father” features a first version, live and raw, loyal to her early career with touring bands. Then, the version on her EP features a new artistry, an Pop-Alternative type of sound.

A bass player since the age of twelve, music has always been an important part of Tova Glyt‘s life, who began to write songs at the age of seven.

Growing up between Sweden and Spain, her multi-cultural upbringing has allowed her to collaborate with many musicians.

Touring and participating in a number of bands, ‘Head Back’ is her first solo EP, which follows the release of five singles.
