Boy Soda surprises with mind-blowing listening experience

Brae Luafalealo – known as BOY SODA, is representing a fresh and contemporary new movement of Australian-bred hip-hop and R&B; his work a perfect example of how the genre is shifting and diversifying, the artist establishing early on that his sonic style wasn’t going to be easily pigeon-holed. Earlier in 2022, he released debut EP The Distance Between Thinking and Feelingwhich saw him receive industry-wide praise earning plays on Triple J and support from the likes of Rolling Stone, NOTION, COMPLEX, in addition to lots of love from Spotify. BOY SODA was hand selected to be part of the Converse All Stars programme, which involved showcasing his work and collaborating with Tyler, The Creator. His debut mixtape was released in December 2022.
