Producer Nikhil Beats gathers London’s finest in his new EP

Today – 12th October – East London artist and producer Nikhil Beats releases his highly anticipated
7-track EP, ‘Earthly Desires Lead To Enlightenment’. Lead singles, ‘Face Your Demons’ and ‘Feel Me’ established earlier chapters of the conceptual project offering themes of introspectiveness, self-development and enlightenment. Marking his first release as a vocalist and producer, the project offers a wide range of ethereal-meets-psychedelic sounds to bring his audience further into his musical universe. Continuing to push his artistry forward, Nikhil is also focused on developing a live showcase alongside his four-piece band ahead of his upcoming headline show at The Victoria, Dalston on 16th November.

“EDLTE, sums up my struggles over the past year and a half since releasing my first project. It’s vulnerable, fun and progressive. I’ve pushed myself to make music that’s more accessible for everyone whilst still maintaining my artistic integrity. I’m proud of it and hope that, by following my journey through the narrative of the project, you are able to use my story to benefit your own life in some way or another. I hope it makes you smile

Since Nikhil’s debut project, 3000 Realms, he has consistently invested time and energy into music, his personal life and spiritual growth. The title, Earthly Desires Lead To Enlightenment is taken from his
Buddhist practice which is regarded as a key influence in his current musical state.

The project sees appearances from Emmavie, Ayeisha Raquel, Solaaris, Monifé, Pritt, and not to forget Meron T on lead single ‘Face Your Demons’. The summer-tinged essence of the track was best reflected during a standout performance at BBC Introducing’s Summer In The Southbank alongside his four-piece band.

Born in East London and raised in a South Asian household, Nikhil Beats – who self-taught himself to
play piano, guitar, bass and drums – has developed an incredible discography including collaborations
with Finn Foxell, Bawo, Danny Sanchez and KeepVibesNear to name a few.

His debut EP, ‘3000‘Realms’ helped expand his growth further garnering attention from the likes of BBC Radio 6’s Giles Peterson, and 1Xtra’s Jamz Supernova who has continued to support him since. A busy summer for Nikhil has included his first festival performances at Hackney’s Dialled In and Wireless before more recently speaking on the panel at London’s Science Museum for a discussion on South Asian Culture. With EDLTE paving the way for his musical legacy, Nikhil continues to strengthen his reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting artist/producers in the burgeoning scene.
