A$H. – How To Build Your Brand As An Artist And Get Closer To Your Fans

Ever been this close to find disclosure

About the one your wonder what colors paint her universe

Mesmerizing downtempo beat, colorful landscape on the synthesizer, mellow vocals, and 80’s pop feels. ASH. unveils an original piece of work.
Since her first opus, The Perfect EP, her sound has grown more mature. Former dancer, she has been cultivating  disco-pop influences. Blending these with hints of r&b and electro-soul, she owns her proper sound, sensual and enchanting.
Conversing with ASH. on her evolution as a musician these past years since her first EP, the young singer explains:
“The Please Like Me EP” came out in April of 2016. The evolution was natural. Many of these songs were already within me.
However, I paced my songs and wanted to deliver certain songs piece by piece as I was beginning to build my fanbase and understand who they were.

All projects from me will be an evolution, so it was important for me to bring fans along with the growth in conversation and sound

It’s still 80s, dream pop, synth pop..with some heart and soul. I can’t wait to release the new music this year!!”

What is interesting in ASH’s response is the importance given to the involvment of her fanbase and nurturing a conversation to know in a better way why people appreciate your craft.

As an independent and emerging artist, it is crucial to build a relationship with  the ones who support your artistry.
Furthermore, it is necessary to build your brand, in other words, the identity and the experience around your name and music.
Once you find yourself, and once you know why people love you, you can excel in your own ground.
As a songstress and a writer of both prose and poetry, firstly known as a dancer, ASH. has well understood this and she’s shining, going from success to success, with the help of her writing partner, T. Brown.

Her success stories count numerous performances at notable events such as opening for Grammy nominated singer and super producer Ryan Leslie at Atlanta’s CenterStage, The Revival hosted by hit producer Bryan-Michael Cox, and the Atlanta Dogwood Festival, just to name a few.

Former vocalist and dancer for artist Janelle Monae, ASH. had the greatest experiences of what it is to work for great acts, from 2011 to 2015, during the Archandroid tour and the Electric Lady tour.

In Spring of 2016, ASH. orchestrated her first high school tour allowing her an opportunity to interact with, impact and encourage young lives. In fact, her music is filled with metaphorical references to dream chasing.

In August of 2016, ASH., , began her uniquely created, ” THE PLEASE LIKE ME LIVING ROOM TOUR”, and she got even closer to her fans for quite an unique and innovative experience.
She traveled to Memphis, Nashville, Cleveland, Atlanta and Brooklyn with her band, creating a stage in the living rooms of her most dedicated fans to provide an opportunity for people to experience her live.
Summer and fall 2017, ASH., gained the opportunity of being the opening act for Grammy award winning artist PJ Morton of Maroon 5 on his highly acclaimed Gumbo World Tour.
With such a successful year, new music in progress and an even larger fan base, everyone is looking forward to what ASH. is bringing in 2018!
