Luna Tides – Folk Rock Vibes From Wales
Inspired by the back and forth of the tides under the moon
They sing about what goes around and “what comes around”.
In the mood to have a long walk into the woods and on the Welsh coastlines,
They think, write and sing along, all “over the cliffs”.
They go by the name of LUNA TIDES, a creative and poetic four piece from Vale of Glamorgan, Wales.
Today the band release their debut EP, titled Open Woods,
A four track project that breathes calm, contemplation, thoughtful lyrics and soothing emotions.
They prepare a launch party that same night at Cardiff’s infamous Clwb Ifor Bach, in conjunction with The Forte Project and the Young Promoter’s Network.
Tracks like Last Night prove how creative is their songwriting,
As far as the harmonies, the guitar chords and the succession to the second movement until its surprising sudden conclusion.
Their first single ‘Over the Cliffs’ was praised by the likes of BBC Radio Wales’ Bethan Eflyn & Adam Walton,
As well as being featured on 6 Music’s Tom Robinson ‘FOTN’ Mixtape.
Over the past 7 months, Luna Tides have supported the likes of Top Loader and Into the Ark on tour, and have graced the stages of festivals; The Big Cwtch and DimSwn.
