Indyanah adresses the female status in romantic relationships with « For Now »

East London R&B singer-songwriter, Indyanah, released her second single ‘For Now’ today, on Friday 11th November 2022.

Produced by music maestro Tendai, with this chill R&B sound Indyanah addresses a recurrent problem in our modern society: the female status in romantic relationships. ‘For Now’, is a sexy savage anthem, battling the contrasting themes of love and lust, whilst confronting the pressures of women having to be ‘the submissive one’ in modern day relationships. Indyanah hails the modern day female ‘savage’, ‘the femme fatale’ who exudes fearless energy, is dominant and knows exactly what she wants in life and in her relationships.

Her smooth voice is accompanied by a steady beat and piano, and a slightly deeper, scratchy voice can be heard behind her at times. Perhaps referring to a boy’s voice which is at a lower volume, to make room for what the woman would like to say in their relationship.

‘For Now’ marks Indyanah’s official return, 2 years on from her last solo release, ‘Energy’. It will be one of the leading singles of her DEBUT EP (Title TBA) that is set to be released in 2023’. ‘For Now’, the single, will be available on all digital streaming platforms on Friday 11th November 2022, accompanied with a visualiser that will go live on Indyanah’s YouTube channel on Sunday 13th November 2022.
